A master plan to revitalize Atlantic City is scheduled to be approved by February.
ATLANTIC CITY — The agency in charge of efforts to bring new life to Atlantic City's tourism district is seeking suggestions from all stakeholders — including visitors — on how to revitalize the resort.
The fortunes of Atlantic City's casino district have been on the decline in the face of withering competition from casinos in neighboring states.
Now the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority is working on a master plan to make the resort cleaner, safer and more successful.
The authority has set up a web site — www.revitalizeAC.com — where any stakeholders in Atlantic City's future can confidentially offer their recommendations. It will also will begin holding community meetings, starting Tuesday night, to gather additional public input.
The master plan must be approved by February.
