The Merge network has changed its rakeback policy from 1 June with any player signing up after that date ineligible for rakeback. A representative of Merge skin RPM Poker revealed the news on poker forums yesterday, and explained that existing RPM players would continue to get rakeback. 

The network, which continues to accept US players, has seen its traffic increase by more than 60% since Black Friday.

The Merge poker network has announced that it will no longer be accepting new players from any of five US states - Maryland, New York, Louisiana, Washington and Missouri. It will also no longer be taking French bets, according to a release picked up by poker forums today. 

The network - which continues to accept US players from other states - confirmed earlier this month that it would stop offering rakeback for any players who sign up after 1 June. Yesterday one Merge site, Hero Poker, revealed that it would not be accepting new players from anywhere within the US.
